Munich, the capital of the German state of Bavaria, is a picturesque city by the Isar River in the northern vestibule of the Alps. Bavaria's cultural, economic, tourist and sports center is generously "flooded" with green land. The cosmopolitan city with a heart - a slogan adopted by Munich, expresses the feeling that settles in the visitor of the third largest city in Germany. The place of beer, sausages, dirndls and leather pants will definitely not disappoint you.

 

Despite its small size, Salzburg is considered one of the most important cultural capitals in the world, and the old town can be found on the World Heritage List. This is also the reason why, alongside Mozart's balls, museums, stunning architecture and cultural events are the first association of most people with the thought of Salzburg.

 

DAY 1 (Ljubljana - Munich)

We will depart from Ljubljana in the early morning hours, followed by a drive through the Karavanke tunnel on the highway past Salzburg, towards the Bavarian capital Munich. We will first drive to the infamous Dachau, where we will visit the former concentration camp, which has, to this day, survived as a monument to all victims of Nazi violence. After the tour, we will head to the very center of Munich. We will take a bus around the city: through the old city ring with the remains of the city gates, past the Royal and Odeon Squares, Ludwig’s and Maximilian’s streets, Ludwig’s University, the old, new and modern Pinakothek ... That will be followed by a drive towards the accommodation and time for refreshment. In the afternoon we will walk to the city center, where we will see, among other things, Mary's Square, the town hall, the church of St. Michael and the cathedral church, ... The evening will be dedicated to getting to know Bavarian beerand visit the freshly set up Christmas markets as the holiday season will begin a few days before.

 

DAY 2 (Munich - Salzburg - Ljubljana)

Breakfast is followed by departure from the accommodation and some free time. You will be able to use your morning for independent visits to museums, of which there are quite a few in the Bavarian capital. Among other things, you will be able to visit the Technical Museum, the famous BMW Museum and climb the Olympic Tower. In the afternoon we will leave the city and drive to Austria, where we will stop in Salzburg. Upon arrival at the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, a great genius and artist, we will see some cultural and historical sights of the city: Mirabell Palace, Mozart's birthplace, former town hall, Festival Hall, the monastery of St. Peter and the Salzburg Cathedral. Free time will follow on the most famous and lively street in the city - Getreidegasse, where you will have the opportunity to buy original Salzburg Mozart balls. In the late afternoon, we will leave for Ljubljana, where we will be arriving in the evening.
