TRIP DESCRIPTION
Join us on an exhilarating 2-day journey to the captivating city of Belgrade, the dynamic capital of Serbia. On Saturday, the 25th of November, our adventure begins as we depart from Ljubljana in the early hours. Our first day is packed with exploration as we kick off with a bus ride sightseeing tour, starting in the modern district of "Novi Beograd," where we'll encounter iconic landmarks like the Belgrade Arena, the Sava Center, and the impressive Ušće shopping mall. Our journey continues to the prestigious "Dedinje" area, home to the House of Flowers, the final resting place of Josip Broz Tito. En route, we'll pass by the renowned stadium of Red Star Belgrade before concluding our bus tour near the majestic Church of Saint Sava. After hotel check-in, the afternoon is yours to uncover the city's hidden treasures. We recommend strolling down the famous Knez Mihailo Street, where an array of superb restaurants awaits, allowing you to savor the delectable local cuisine.
On the second day, following a delightful breakfast, we venture to the historic Kalemegdan Fortress, offering breathtaking views of the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers, two of the region's most significant waterways. More free time in the city center lets you savor your final tastes of Belgrade's charm before bidding farewell and returning to Ljubljana, arriving there late in the night.
